Vacancy – Deputy Clerk
The Parish Council is seeking to recruit a part time deputy clerk to help manage the activities of this growing and ambitious council.
A Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) qualification is desirable, or a willingness to attain it within a reasonable timeframe.
Knowledge of local government laws and procedures is preferred but not essential, as training will be given to the right candidate.
A good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is essential.
A flexible approach is needed, as some evening and occasional weekend work will be required. The position is up to 15 hours per week, based at Knebworth Village Hall. Flexible home working will be considered for the right candidate.
