The Planning Committee is responsible for:

• commenting on planning applications which relate to Knebworth parish;
• advertisment consent;
• listed building consent;
• consent to cut down, uproot, lop or top trees protected by a Tree Preservation Order, and the making of Tree Preservation Orders;
• matters arising in connection with planing appeals;
• matters arising in connection with the environment;
• matters arising in connection with parish paths;
• representing the Council in consultation on Neighbourhood Plans, Supplementary Planning documents and equivalent documents.
