Parks & Open Spaces
Knebworth offers a number of facilities throughout the parish:
Knebworth Recreation Grounds

Knebworth Recreation Grounds
Knebworth Recreation Grounds is a two minute walk from the High Street via the footpath from Stevenage Road. Vehicular access is off Watton Road.
The grounds are located at what was to be heart of the Garden City. Unfortunately due to the First World War plans changed. However the lime avenues provide a pleasant walk for able and less able bodied people.
The grounds also contain football pitches, tennis courts, bowling green, a pond and a play area.

New play equipment is to be installed in
Knebworth Recreation Grounds in June,
ready for the school holidays.
Lytton Fields Playspace

This is an open space in Lytton Fields which contains various play equipment.
King George V Play Area

The field has five a side goals and a small Children's Play Area mainly for the younger element.
Norfolk Road Playing Field
Hare Street Road Recreation Ground

The smallest of our areas, it has a large recreation space plus a Children's Play Area which is aimed at the middle age group.
It is accessed from Snells Mead or Carter's Close. The eastern end houses the Millennium Wildlife Area.
All the facilities are managed and maintained by the Town Council.
