Hole near Allotments

A hole has appeared on the path near the allotments as a result of a broken storm drain. Both landowner and Herts County Council are aware of the problem.

Station Pub Survey

In a village wide survey the Parish Council asked the question

Should Knebworth Parish Council borrow funds to purchase the Station Pub as a Public House and Village Asset?

There were 560 responses, with 79% supporting the Parish Council borrowing funds to bid for the Station Pub.

Station Pub

The Station, Public House constructed in 1883 is a prominent landmark in the centre of Knebworth. This establishment closed in February 2017 and became subject to a planning application to split the site in two, converting the garden area into residential properties.

Library Moves to St Martins Church

The library will be open as normal up to 1pm on Saturday 23 February. It will then be closed from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 February, and will reopen at 2pm on Thursday 28 February in St Martins Church.
