Vacancy - Clerk

Knebworth Parish Council is seeking to recruit a part time parish clerk to manage the activities of this growing and ambitious council.

A Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) qualification is desirable, or a willingness to attain it within a reasonable timeframe.

Knowledge of local government laws and procedures is preferred but not essential, as training will be given to the right candidate.

A good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is essential.

A flexible approach is needed, as some evening and occasional weekend work will be required. The position is 30 hours per week with a minimum 2/3 days office based.

Salary range of £26,683-£31,050.
