Changes to Brown Bin Service

NHDC will introduce changes to the brown bin service during May 2018. If you wish NHDC to collect your garden waste you will have to pay £40 for 2018/19 or £35 if you pay before 31 March 2018. Food waste will still be collected, but in new food caddies which will be issued during April.

Consultation: Prescribing of over-the-counter items in primary care

Just before Christmas, NHS England and NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC) launched a national consultation on reducing the prescribing of over-the-counter medicines for 33 minor, short-term health conditions. A1 Resurfacing

There are planned roadworks on the A1.

The A1 northbound between junction 7-8 will be closed for resurfacing work from 1 February for five nights, excluding the weekend.

The A1 southbound will be closed from the Biggleswade South roundabout to junction 10 for resurfacing from 29 January for three nights.
