Hertfordshire Half Marathon 19 November

The half marathon will start and finish at Knebworth House on Sunday 19 November 2017. There will be a number of road closures from 09.00 to 12.00 midday.

Proposed Parking Restrictions Park Lane and Gun Lane

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking the views of local residents and businesses on proposals to introduce further parking restrictions on Park Lane and Gun Lane, Knebworth.

Knebworth Neighbourhood Plan Group is looking for volunteers to assist with the development of the plan, and if you are interested it would like to hear from you. Domestic Clinical Waste Collection

NHDC has recently experienced some issues with residents placing clinical waste such as needles and syringes in their grey mixed recycling bin. This is a significant health and safety risk to our collection crews and staff at the recycling sorting centre as some of the recycling is hand-sorted. Even if parts of these are plastic, they should never be placed in any recycling bin.

Fibre Broadband, Old Knebworth

There have been some delays to the Fibre to the Premise rollout planned for this area. The contractor is aiming to resolve these issues and is currently targeting this service becoming available by April 2018, although Openreach is aiming for this to be rolled out before the end of 2017.
