You may be aware that the Station Pub was 'closed for refurbishment' yesterday and much of the equipment has already been removed from the pub.
The Council has been made aware that a document was lodged with the Land Registry on 7 February for the sale of the Station Pub by Green King to Market Homes of Borehamwood. Market Homes buys sites without planning permission and seeks to redevelop for housing.... Read More »

The Station Public House has been put up for sale by its owner, Greene King, and is currently under offer. It is unclear at the moment if it will be sold as a going concern or sold for development, but many residents have expressed support in retaining the pub as a community asset.

North Herts Local Plan 2011-2031 consultation starts today and runs until 30 November 2016.
Parish Council Paul Ward gave a presentation, at the Parish Council meeting on 12 October, outlining the planning process and highlighting how to comment on the North Herts Local Plan.
