Library Moves to St Martins Church

The library will be open as normal up to 1pm on Saturday 23 February. It will then be closed from Monday 25 to Wednesday 27 February, and will reopen at 2pm on Thursday 28 February in St Martins Church.

NHDC Parking Strategy Review

The Cabinet meeting on 29 January included a review of NHDC parking strategy, which was approved together with a strategic action plan. The strategy largely covers management of parking in town centres, however there is a section which outlines how NHDC proposes to manage commuter parking.

Winter Salt

The Parish Council still has a few bags of salt available to residents, if you would like a bag please contact the clerk.

Herts Highways is responsible for the salt bins on the highway, each is numbered and mapped. Residents often request additional salt bins however the current HCC guidance is that it is not possible to add any extra bins.

Vounteer Day, Norton Green Common

There will be a volunteer day at Norton Green Common on Thursday 7th February from 10am to about 4pm.
