The Parish Council, together with County Councillor Thake, has been working with Herts Highways to amend the current restrictions on London Road. The result is that 60% of parking spaces on London Road will be made available within the next few days.

As lockdown is easing on 15 June NHDC will be issuing warning notices to those vehicles not displaying a valid permit in our residential parking zones or parked on a single yellow line. Herts Highways has published a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order for the current measures in the High Street and Station Road.

Herts County Council has started introducing measures to help people socially distance in its towns.
Knebworth has been identified as requiring measures and today parking restrictions have been introduced in London Road. It is also proposed to introduce traffic lights on Station Road to provide a wider footpath under the railway bridge.
