Knebworth Community Library

Knebworth Community Library is a new partnership between Hertfordshire Libraries and volunteers from the local community. More information will be provided at a meeting to be held on Monday 18 September 2017 at 7.00pm in Knebworth Village Hall.

Domestic Clinical Waste Collection

NHDC has recently experienced some issues with residents placing clinical waste such as needles and syringes in their grey mixed recycling bin. This is a significant health and safety risk to our collection crews and staff at the recycling sorting centre as some of the recycling is hand-sorted. Even if parts of these are plastic, they should never be placed in any recycling bin.

Fibre Broadband, Old Knebworth

There have been some delays to the Fibre to the Premise rollout planned for this area. The contractor is aiming to resolve these issues and is currently targeting this service becoming available by April 2018, although Openreach is aiming for this to be rolled out before the end of 2017. GP Opening hours Consultation

Patients registered to GP practices in North Hertfordshire are being asked their views on GP opening hours by East and North Hertfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and NHS England.
