10:00-16:00 Track Play

Sun, 19 Jul 2020, 10:00 - 16:00

Welcome to the home of Track Play!

We are a local business based in Hertfordshire and will be bringing the ultimate train track events to venues in the local area.

When children and adults see our giant train tracks they are amazed. Children can't wait to play on our super-charged train tracks with all their favourite character motorised trains.

Tunnels, stations, spirals and bridges are all part of our tracks, so many things for children to interact and play with, and plenty of space to enjoy watching the trains race round the tracks – plus without the hassle of packing it all away at the end of the day!

Come to one of our train events and let your children loose on our interactive tracks. Follow us on our Facebook page or sign up for our email for upcoming events below, or click on the Events page to see where we are coming to next!

14:00-15:30 Herts Musical Memories

Thu, 02 Jul 2020, 14:00 - 15:30

Herts Musical Memories runs 13 singing groups across Hertfordshire. It is not necessary to be a great singer to participate in a Musical Memories session. The intention is that those who attend can socialize, have fun and enjoy the pleasures of group singing in a safe and friendly environment.

The sessions incorporate gentle seated exercise to music, voice and breathing exercises, an eclectic mix of songs, simple rounds and partner songs. There is time at the beginning of the sessions to socialise over a cup of tea or coffee and have a chat.

The sessions are not only fun, but also therapeutic. Both breathing exercises and the singing itself helps to increase lung capacity and in turn oxygen to the blood, resulting in improved alertness and health. Singing familiar songs not only connects people with their memories but helps to improve cognitive skills as well as vocal skills, and generally brings a sense of wellbeing.
